This year marks the semiquincentennial, or 250th anniversary, of our country! The Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4, 1776, and eventually signed by a total of 56 delegates. These men represented the 13 colonies and pledged their lives, fortunes, and honor in signing this document.

In honor of this holiday, LBHC will be closed July 2-8, 2026. We will reopen July 9. If you are missing a therapy appointment during this time, remember to use the skills you have learned in session. Celebrations for the 4th of July often include parades, outdoor barbecues, patriotic music, and fireworks. Whatever you choose to do to celebrate this year, we wish you a safe and happy Independence Day!
